For the eighth edition of the awards the Polymers for Europe Alliance has decided that the
overarching award will focus on decarbonisation.

Voting will last from the 21th of February to the 15th of May. All users of polymers in Europe can
access this online customer satisfaction survey - free of charge and in strict confidence.

“The Best Polymer Producers Awards were created in 2016 to re-establish a constructive dialogue
and good communication between suppliers and users of polymers in Europe. We encourage plastics
converters in Europe to participate and rate all their suppliers. The fact that we are now organising
the seventh edition with a growing number of voters every year is a clear indicator of the awards’
success” said Ron Marsh, Chair of the Polymers for Europe Alliance.

How does the Awards voting work?

The rating tool is easy to understand, extremely user-friendly and provided in several languages in
order to reach as many polymer users in Europe as possible.

In case you do not yet have an account on the Polymers for Europe Alliance, you can register for free
here: www.polymercomplyeurope.eu/node/210/register to get your exclusive access to the rating
tool.

Once you have accessed the rating tool, you can choose your suppliers in 10 different polymer type
categories: PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PET, PVC, PS & EPS, PC, ABS, and barrier polymers.

Once selected, you can then rate them according to the 6 criteria Delivery Reliability, Polymer
Quality, Communication, Commitment to the European Market, Innovation, and Circularity. Based on
the average of the incoming ratings, the best European polymer suppliers to the European Market
per polymer type will be awarded. Furthermore, an overarching award on decarbonisation, covering
all polymer types, will be given away.

About Polymers for Europe Alliance

The Alliance was initiated by the European Plastics Converters association (EuPC) during its General
Assembly in May 2015. It is an online, confidential information platform open to all parties who have
an interest in the competitive conversion of polymers in Europe. Its objectives are to provide factual
public information on the status of the polymer supply situation in Europe and to re-establish a
constructive dialogue with the supply base. The initiatives of the Alliance also include the Polymer
Producers Awards for Europe, which are now organised on an annual basis. In this Europe-

wide online customers’ satisfaction survey all users of polymers in Europe can rate their suppliers of
the year.
